EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TIPS
* In finding leads for the Realtor in your group - remind your contacts (and yourself!) - each of us knows at least 5 people in a year that will sell, buy or need a Realtor! Yes, think back to last year and LIST the 5 people you knew who dealt w/ a Realtor. Contact them and see if they were satisfied w/ the experience! Recommend your member for future needs and/or WHO DO THEY KNOW now that might need a terrific Realtor? Make this years list too of those that are buying, selling or thinking about it!
* Use that question: "WHO DO YOU KNOW?" when speaking to any business professional...and share the names of your membership and talk about your relationship w/ these particular business professionals. ASK, if they too might be interested in visiting/joining or WHO DO THEY KNOW? that would be interested in increasing their business success? Invite them to visit our website: www.leadsfl.com and check out existing chapters - these are all HOT LEADS when they have a referral for any chapter!
* DIY (Do It Yourself) - it's a 'buzz' word out there - that and EXTREME MAKEOVERS for anything! Makeover on homes, rooms, individuals - THINK when you hear someone say, I'd like a brighter smile (Leads Club Dentist!), I'd like a new wardrobe (Leads Club Image Consultant, Retail Shop Owner, Jewelry lady for accessories!), I'd like a facelift...(Leads Club Beauty/Spa member - Cosmetic Surgeon!), I love Trading Spaces or HGTV...(Leads Club room organizers, contractors, handyman, Interior Decorator, Land/Pond/Room Scaping)AND your MORTGAGE lenders - YES, to do any of this...more $$$ can be found by a simple call to a Mortgage Broker to help w/ a line of credit!!
* Financial Planners - consider all the avenues of leads for them...friends, clients, family members that are starting a family - retirement - graduating seniors w/ $$ to invest - someone starting a new job/business...Especially someone that says, "I don't have enough money to NEED a Financial Planner"! They absolutely do NEED to meet w/ one and learn how to move forward from that current situation!
* Last tip for now - each of you that has a product that can be displayed weekly...handmade soaps, jewelry, baskets, floral, promotional items, cosmetic, spa, retail, candle, cooking, candy making, water filters, etc....bring the newest item or the item of the month or a specially priced item - seasonal...have it sitting in front of your spot for visitors to see, try, buy and connect you to your business. Be considerate of the professional setting - but props or tools of your trade are great reminders and marketing tools to help your members 'get' what you do and need for future leads.
There are essential keys to belonging to Leads Club that make our organization the best for advertising and marketing your business.
* Continual growth is one of the essential keys to your members business success. Imagine every week having 30 business professionals around your meeting table to hear about each of your members business! Until you reach that maximum number of 30 allowed w/ members - it is the BEST HOT OUTSIDE LEAD you can bring to the table! When you are challenged to find a new outside lead during a work week - invite another business - in essence, you've brought to the table a lead for every member - this VISITOR or potential new member to the group, will hear 2 30 second promotional - a great way to hear the members that you are so connected with!
* Attendance is another essential key. I can't stress enough that each member must respect one another's commitment to this group and block out the required time it takes weekly, in order for you to arrive a few minutes early for meal selection/setup, to greet new visitors and guests each week, and to enthusiastically embrace one of the most important meetings in your day planner - your LEADS CLUB WEEKLY BUSINESS MEETING! Mark it out - support one another and get your advertising fee value by being there every week.
* The next key to Leads Club chapter success: MIXERS. I encourage a former Leadership team member to spearhead or chair this form of promotion for the group. That doesn't mean they do all the organizing - it means they review the MIXER handout provided online to each new Leadership Team - review the member handbook - and help your membership focus on one a month or a minimum of 3 during the 6 month term. Help orchestrate or suggest 3 members that can come together - they secure a location conducive to their respective business (a members office or your Leads meeting site is good) and those 3 members will have 3 minutes to speak about their business after you welcome the visiting businesses and members that attend. The idea is to showcase LEADS and the 3 members businesses. Consider drawings from 2-3 OTHER members that would like the opportunity to share their 30 second promotional as they draw a name for a giveaway! Camaraderie, professional and enthusiastic energy, will attract new businesses to join your group and to want to use your services. It is not about a social - it's all about a fun, relaxed, but professional setting to showcase LEADS Club and several members business. Each member should attend and invite as many business prospects as possible. Because it is right after work, for only and hour or 75 minutes (like a leads meeting!)...refreshments are light.
